Date: 2 March 2014
Venue: The Ground Theatre at *SCAPE

It’s been two weeks since the concert but I cannot stop playing their songs on my iPod!

At S$68, the tickets are a steal and so here comes #TBSSG! This being my second time at a rock concert in an enclosed space, I was ready for the shoving and body surfing! Though nothing can prepare you when the time comes. Thank goodness for concert buddy!

This is the best shot I took that night because it was too dark and too jumpy for any proper shots to be taken. I love this shot a lot so much so I posted it on my Instagram and used it as my Whatsapp profile picture!

Being able to see Adam Lazarra on stage is such an experience and his mic-swing is super awesome! Everytime he does it, I’m in awe and he has this incredible swag going on! OMG!

TBS-sg2014Holy shit. I just realized Taking Back Sunday will be performing in Singapore in TWO WEEKS! This is their ONLY stop in Asia!!!

More info: Upsurge|Ticketing

Where have I been these past months? Under a rock? (In actual fact, playing Fantasica and Kungfu House)

Now all I need is someone to rock out with me!

Honourable mentions:

  1. Maroon 5 featuring Christina Aguilera – Moves Like Jagger
  2. NKOTBSB – Don’t Turn Out The Lights
  3. The Band Perry – If I Die Young
  4. Paramore – Monster
  5. David Cook – The Last Goodbye
  6. Britney Spears – Criminal
  7. Katy Perry – The One That Got Away
  8. Rihanna – We Found Love
  9. Christina Perri – Jar of Hearts / A Thousand Years
  10. Bruno Mars – Grenade / It Will Rain

To be honest, I cannot remember much of what happened in the first half of the year except that I was really into My Chemical Romance and The Script (they came to Singapore!!!). Now, at the end of the year, I can tell you Foster The People‘s album, Torches, has made quite an impression on my eardrums. 😉

Take That re-emerged onto my iPod after they contributed to the end credits of X-Men: First Class. Elsewhere, the introduction of the Warblers on Glee Season 2 brought Darren Criss – his amazing form and voice – to our eyes and ears! I’ve never been this excited about a new character before.

Aldous Huxley: After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.

This song is starting to grow on me and I’m glad that TBS is featured on all THREE of the Transformers OST.

Watching Adam Lazarra swinging his mike is addictive.

But when I let you down, look past your doubt.
Just please, please, don’t lose your faith in me.
